We had a lovely stay at The Stables. Kelk is perfectly located and we visited Bridlington, Robin Hoods Bay and Filey. A quick visit to Thornwick Bay was brilliant as we managed to spot some puffins! Also visited York for a change of scenery 1 hour drive The accommodation is well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We would definitely like to visit again and would highly recommend.

Lovely two bedroom holiday cottage. We stayed at the property next door earlier this year and decided to come back as we were so impressed with Kingfisher Corner and The Stables didn't disappoint. It is clean, bright, spacious and stayed relatively cool during the May heatwave with the help of the Velux roof windows. The facilities are excellent modern and convenient. We had breakfast in the cottage each morning and cooked in the kitchen most evenings which had everything we needed. Parking is just across the courtyard and has plenty of space to turn the car around to park. At night, even with the windows open, it was very, very quiet only the occasional Tawny owl. We met Rachael, the owner and she was very helpful. Firstly, helping us find the cutlery drawer doh! and then dropping off a pint of milk. We look forward to coming back to Kelk Beck Cottages the next time we are visiting that part of Yorkshire.

A wonderful stay overall, very quiet and peaceful. Just a few observationsinaccessible socket near the mirror and nowhere to put things whilst doing my hair. A hook in the bathroombedroom and possibly a bath mat we had to use one of the towels would add to the comfort. A cheese grater was the only thing missing in the kitchen, otherwise everything had been thought of. These are minor gripes, though, we had a lovely stay and the owners are friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend and we hope to return.

The Old Stables is a gem! Finished and fitted out to a high standard, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely barn nice & clean & peaceful, the only negative is the towels they provide have seen better days & are far too small also needs a toilet brush maybe been nice to leave some milk in the fridge had tea bags & coffee but no milk apart from that it was lovely.

Spent a 4 night mid week stay here in May. Excellent property with everything you require for self catering. Loved the location very peaceful and quiet. Excellent walks around the area saw foxes and hares. 20 minute drive to main towns of Bridlington and Flamborough with lots to see and do. Had two days at RSPB Bempton Cliffs which was amazing. Owners very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend, thank you a wonderful holiday.

A lovely comfortable cottage close to nearby towns, but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful countryside. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the owners were such lovely friendly people who happily provided recommendations on places to go and see. There are a lot of holiday cottages available, but this really is a gem and I would happily return.

A well appointed and comfortable property in a quiet rural location ideally situated for exploring the area with its stunning coastine and many nature reserves. The friendly hosts are welcoming and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks family holiday here. The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we needed including fresh bread, milk and Prosecco! The surrounding area was beautiful. On our first evening the owner told us they were combining the Wheat in one of their fields opposite so we went to watch and as advised had a really lovely walk through the field to the Beck. The owners were genuinely such warm, friendly and helpful people and cricket lovers as well!! We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

An absolutely brilliant little place to stay. The only very slight downside was that the mattress on the bed was a little too stiff for our liking. It wouldn't stop us from coming back though.

Our break was very much needed and the accommodation surpassed our high expectations. All of the furnishings and fittings are high end and the cottage is immaculate. It was probably the nicest accommodation weve stayed in for a long time. Very comfortable and in an ideal location for exploring the local area. The Stables is located in the quiet countryside close to Driffield. The grounds are very well kept with plenty of seating areas and easy parking. The cottage is a delightful property with high standard of furniture, equipment and amenities. All rooms are spacious and with being all on one level suited all age groups. It is ideally situated as it is only a short drive to many attractions, villages, towns and beaches. Impressed with communications from Sykes and the owners. Hope to stay again and will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.
