About Guillemot Cottage

Guillemot Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion dating back to 1810 in the village of Buckton near Flamborough on the East Yorkshire coast. Beautiful high ceilings, exposed beams and a wood-burning stove give this Visit England 4 Star cottage real character. It sits within the Manor Farm Cottages complex alongside The Roost and Puffin Cottage - all three share a sun-trap courtyard with their own patios.

Buckton sits just 1 mile from RSPB Bempton Cliffs home to over 250,000 seabirds including puffins and gannets. You can walk there. The village pub The White Horse is under half a mile away. Cycling is excellent here with the 146-mile Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route on the doorstep and a fully equipped bike store on site.

The cottage sleeps 4 guests across 2 en-suite bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a 4ft 6in double bed with cubicle shower ensuite. Bedroom 2 has two 3ft single beds with a bath and shower over ensuite. The ground-floor open-plan living space includes a 26" Freeview TV and woodburner.

Flamborough Head clifftop walks are minutes away. Bridlington is 6 miles south. Scarborough is around 20 miles north. Sewerby Hall with its children's zoo is roughly 4 miles away.

Guillemot Cottage suits birdwatchers cyclists and coastal walkers. One pet is welcome and the cottage can combine with The Roost and Puffin Cottage for groups up to 14.

The nearest railway station is Bridlington which is approximately 6 miles from the cottage. From Bridlington station a short taxi ride will take you directly to Manor Farm Cottages in Buckton.
