We had a lovely stay in a very clean, comfortable and immaculate cottage. A lot of thought has gone into both the quality and design of the decor. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed.

A lovely accommodation ,it was very peaceful area,the cottage was well maintained and very clean and tidy, everything you need for a holiday away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage, it was spotless and had all the amenities needed. The only little downside if I was going to say anything is its a shame theres not a little fenced off area if you have a dog, just so you can leave the door open and its secure for them. But I would highly recommend this cottage, its in a great area too. Loved it, many thanks Tracey

What a lovely place to stay . It has everything you need inside . Beds comfy, sofas comfy , shower lovely. So dog friendly . Could do with some nice outdoor furniture to sit out and eat at . Lovely little village . The pub is closed in the village though

Beautiful cottage perfect location, walked to the beach with the family numerous days, so peaceful. Got a lovely pub 5 minute walk away. The cottage was spotless and only a short drive to Bridlington and so many beautiful surrounding places like flamborough head. Will come back, big thanks to the Old Joiners owners.

Extremely clean, and very well presented, this cosy but highly functional cottage did not disappoint. It is obvious that a great deal of care has been given to ensuring that the facilities and overall standard of comfort for guests is of a high quality. Of note for future guests is that the only local convenience stores at both Barmston and in Skipsea are only open when the adjoining Holiday camps are open. Thus in late Autumn and Winter they are closed full time as they were when we visited. Also of note is that the local coastline is spectacular but also highly volatile access to the beaches can be erratic and subject to change at very short notice. We had a very nice break though and would highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting this highly interesting part of the coast a decent dog friendly village pub as well. Harry and Wendy

Everything was just how we like it ,clean,comfortable, everything that you needed. Plenty of car parking space .Lit the log fire once as it dropped really cold one night,so felt really cosy then .Can't fault a thing,hope to be back

The cottage is decidedly roomy and was spotloss when we arrived and when we left hopefully It is situated ideally for the area and also only a short walk to the sea but you will have to walk down some pathways that may not be too good for anyone with walking problems. There was a nice welcome pack awaiting upon arrival which was a nice touch also. Overall we can highly recomend this cottage.

Brilliant cottage we have actually been to the one next door run through Cottages. Com which is nowhere near as nice as this one One thing i would like to point out though is when are people going to stop using COVID as an excuse to make you strip the beds etc before your departure , COVID was nearly 5 years ago and cottages should be serviced as they used to be .

Absolutely spotless cottage with all the facilities we needed. A lot of thought has gone into the layout and it works well. The information pack was very good and had all the details we required. The local pub has unusual decor and serves excellent food. And finally the beach sandy with areas of stones is a 5 minute walk away with access from the cliffs so a little scrambling is required.

The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making our stay at the property comfortable. The property was immaculately clean, all credit to the lovely lady we met when we left yesterday. The car parking area for several vehicles is more like a military parade ground and completely sterile. At Barmston road end there is a real eyesore. There is a dumping ground for old shopcaravan equipment etc. This is spreading into the car park. The cottage itself was one of the cleanest weve been to.

The Welcome Pack was a lovely touch, and it was very much appreciated after a very long journey from Suffolk a very welcome cup of tea and a biscuit. We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this cottage. What can I say. It was absolutely immaculate. Every thing you could wish for was there., cleanliness was excellent. The cottage was very clean and had everything needed for a relaxing holiday, a home from home. Plenty of places to visit nearby and lots of good pubs in the area. Unfortunately while we were there, the nearby Italian restaurant was closed and the local village pub had no chef, haha, but we still enjoyed our weeks holiday and would return again.

We were dissapointed to find that there were no additional refuse sacks other than the two in the rubbish bin in the kitchen. we bought extra ones.

We loved staying at the cottage it was spotless, comfortable and had a lot of character. You could tell that the owners take pride in looking after it. The village is an ideal location for exploring the area and the Black Bull pub serves great food and is only a few minutes walk away.

The Joiners Shop Cottage was exactly as described. A perfect cosy cottage, ideally located for a couple who love exploring the coast with their Border Terrier Doris. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.
