About The Hayloft

The Hayloft is a first-floor apartment inside a Grade II listed stable courtyard at Thorpe Hall in Rudston near Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Part of the James Collection, this is a converted 1700s stable block set within the grounds of a working country estate. The Hall itself dates to the early 1700s and is still a working estate today.

The Yorkshire Wolds surround you here. Rudston village is less than a mile away and its churchyard contains the famous Rudston Monolith. Bridlington's beaches are just over four miles away. East Coast beaches here regularly hold the clean beach flag award. Fishing is available on-site for £6 per rod.

The Hayloft sleeps 2 guests in one bedroom with a zip-and-link super kingsize bed (configurable as 2 singles). There is one bathroom with a bath and shower over. The open-plan living space includes a dining area with views of the historic bridge and Gypsey Race stream.

Sewerby Hall is minutes away. Flamborough Head and RSPB Bempton Cliffs are close by. Burton Agnes Hall and Castle Howard are within easy reach for a day out.
