Had a lovely stay here, we are originally from the area and came back to see old friends and needed somewhere pet friendly that was close to the centre. Sunnyside 1 was perfect for our needs. Kitchen facilities were great and the apartment was nice and warm and comfortable on a cold wet weekend. Beds were comfortable. Parking no issues, we moved the car closer as a space became available.

The place was brilliant perfect location my wife was disabled so couldn't get it ... The place was brilliant perfect location my wife was disabled so couldn't get it into fron room so we managed to get it round back which was ideal but back area could do with a bit of a tidy up

I am a wheelchair user, although the door space was awkward I managed. Kitchen and dining area were good the living room could do with brightening up. One noisy neighbour upstairs did spoil it a bit.

This apartment was ideally placed, but is in desperate need of attention. The three seater settee is in need of replacement as it has been sat on so many times that it sags on to the steel frame when you sit on it and the leather is peeling in between the cushions. The scatter cushions were in need of a wash as they had stains on them. The bathroom tiles on the sink side of the wall, high up were dirty, the bath panel was flaking paint and a piece in the skirting board was missing, the hot tap moves when you turn it on and off. To top it all there is a snail on the top of the window frame. For some reason there is a piece of carpet propped up at the side of the downstairs wardrobe. There did not appear to be a welcome book with instructions about recycling, WiFi etc. it appeared you had to find your own way around things. There were two DVD players that you could not use.

Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again

We had a lovely week at Sunnyside. It was very clean and tidy. The apartment was spacious and airy. The bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. Small but adequate back yard, perfect for dogs. Nice little suntrap with bench on the front of the property. We managed to get parking outside the property most days and only occasionally had to park a little further up the road. Nice place for fish and chips is Pier 6 just around the corner and Apollo on the harbour, both dog friendly. We had a lovely trip on the Yorkshire Belle, it was definitely worth the money. The communication from the landlord was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, he replied within minutes to our queries. Highly recommend this property it is located close to the beach with lots of shops,pubs and cafes.

No mention of step between hall and kitchen. Or 2nd bedroom being upstairs until I read reviews. Bk yard needs tidying for visitors to sit in. Instructions for oven would help. Not very mobility friendly. But clean, comfy recliners and beds. Glad the heating was on in the morning or it would have been really cold in kitchen and bathroom.

This place is a gem. Its close to the harbour, shops and beaches. Also not far away from Tesco and Train station. The property was clean and towels and bed linen smelled lovely. Really big fridge and stove, which we appreciated. We loved that there was a small, private outside area, ideal when you have a dog. We were given an online parking permit via the owner which was great thank you. It did get a bit busy but it was peak holiday season so expected.

A lovely, comfortable apartment, well equipped for our week away. Great location, with the harbour very close by. Would definitely come back!

The apartment was very comfortable and clean and situated very close to the harbour. It had access within walking distance to both north and south beach and the amusement fair. The staff were friendly and helpful and Dave was very prompt in sorting out a couple of teething issues. Overall we had a lovely holiday, so thanks to the Sunnyside team.

This property was unacceptable. There was an unpleasant odour, filthy crockery, stained toilet and black rotten wood in the bathroom. The outside seating provided was a filthy chair and an upholstered style bedroom stool. We have questioned sykes over their criteria for standards. We stayed at this property for one hour then paid to stay at The Bay at filey so we could enjoy our break.
