Stable Cottage, Bridlington

Stable Cottage is a converted stable block sitting within the grounds of Thorpe Hall a Grade II listed stately home built in the early 1700s near Rudston in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The estate is still a working estate today. The beach at Bridlington is just four miles away. The owner offers a personal tour of the grounds and its history to all guests (subject to availability).

Rudston village is less than a mile away and has a small shop. The village churchyard contains the famous Rudston Monolith. Bridlington town is just over four miles away. You can ride horses along the beach at nearby Fraisthorpe or try coarse fishing and bridleways across the estate. Free stabling and grazing for horses is available on site.

Stable Cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 each have a zip-and-link super kingsize bed (convertible to twins). Bedroom 3 has two single beds. There is one bathroom with bath and shower over plus a separate ground floor toilet.

Sewerby Hall is a few minutes' drive away. Flamborough Head and RSPB Bempton Cliffs are 15 minutes by car. Burton Agnes Hall is nearby. Scarborough and Filey are accessible along the coast road.
