By Car

To reach Sarah's Cottage by car, head into Flamborough village via the B1255 from Bridlington. The cottage has off-road parking on site. Guests with larger vehicles are advised to use the space near the entrance rather than the tighter space further along past the cottage.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Bridlington, approximately 6 miles away. From Bridlington station a taxi to Flamborough village takes around 15 minutes and taxis are readily available at the station rank.

In our eyes it's not dog friendly, no windows that opened, the big step from the lounge into the garden was very steep. The drain hole in the shower the cover was broken and left on the side.
We have stayed in Flamborough for over 10 years, but our usual cottage was sold and we didn't think we'd find anything comprable but to our happy surprise, Sarah's Cottage far exceeds our expectations. The facilities that are provided are excellent and as such we have booked twice more next year 2027. It's a lovely well furnished cottage and you could actually move in and live there.

This was our second stay in this lovely cottage in beautiful Flamborough. Very well presented and fully kitted out cottage, easy access to all the local beaches. We'll be back again soon!!
The cottage is well equipped & furnished with comfortable and good quality items especially the super sized bed and 2 lounge sofas. Good walk in shower bonus of well placed grab rail & large fluffy white towels. Cottage is well placed in the village for evening meals and a Coop for groceries, also for visiting nearby attractions. 2 small niggles I would prefer not to see Christmas garlands and an Easter decoration in the lounge in August..!! I understand why John has been too busy to attend to the garden and also in view of the drought BUT the cottage lacks kerb appeal without some attention & flower containers. These niggles to not deter from the overall comfort of Sarahs Cottage which I would recommend.

I don't want to appear in any way negative, as the cottage was beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the welcome pack was great, the owner came straight away when we had TV issues. Inside was perfect. Outside could have been better and certainly more outside comfort would have been welcome to sit in on a lovely afternoon.

We were surprised how much bigger Sarah's cottage was than it appeared from the website. Everything we needed was provided along with complimentary eggs, bread, tea and biscuits. Flamborough is a nice village and perfect location for a walk to Flamborough Head, with it's two lighthouses along the cliff top to North Bay and then back to the village. I would suggest on arrival park in the space by the entrance just in front of the wheelie bins rather than attempt the allocated space further along past the cottage as that is tight.

Wow what an amazing cottage, it was perfect. Everything you need for a great holiday. There was nothing I could pick fault with. I will definitely return.
Truly lovely cottage, very comfortable with everything you could need supplied. Ample off road parking, kitchen with all appliances and utensils, supermarket close by, pubs with good food within walking distance. Scenic walks and drives all round, lots to see and do fantastic short break.
This was by far the best cottage we have booked. what a stunning renovation you can see the high quality work that's been done. On a comfort level wow brilliant, the furnishings etc superb, hubby is over 6ft so a nice long 3 seater sofa for him and the two seater for me, the bed was huge and so comfy we slept really well, it's a nice peaceful spot to stay, we will definitely book again. So cosy on arrival as it was a chilly old day, our first words where wow stunning. Due to the time of year which we appreciate only one local pub was open which was a good old proper pub The rose and crown and the food was lush. An excellent way to spend hubby's birthday and our 43rd Wedding Anniversary xx

Sarahs Cottage was warm, comfortable and welcoming. As we didnt have the best weather it was January we spent most of our week in the cottage and were very happy to do so. Our hosts were helpful and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful , homely comfortable cottage . We arrived to it all trimmed up for Christmas with 2 beautiful trees in the room , there was also lovely welcome goodies in the kitchen .The bed is exceptionally comfortable which is a biggy for us . The cottage is ideally situated , Sarah and John have put together a folder with all the information you need to explore the area including places to eat , we would definately recommend seabirds for food which is a 2 minute walk away but you will need to book . We had a lovely relaxing stay and we met John while we were there which was a pleasure . Definately recommend .
What a lovely, comfortable, spacious cottage. Everything you might need is catered for. A well equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area and a nice big snuggly bed. There is a small, enclised garden area where you dog can explore, and if you ae lucky enough to visit in the warmer months, sit outside for a coffee. There is lits to explore in tge area, too. Its a beautiful part of Yorkshire, and Sarah's cotage makes a perfect base.

Perfect location for exploring the local area and beyond. The hosts Sarah & John are lovely people and couldnt do enough for us. Home from home, clean and tidy. Beautifully refurbished old farm building suitable for short or long term let. Seatinggardendoggy area could have benefitted with some TLC but previous presence of any dogs undetectable both outside and in. Access suitable for disabled. A lovely starter pack provided in spacious and well equipped kitchen apart from absence of tea pot! duly noted by welcoming hosts who had clearly gone that extra mile and were on hand at any time. Would return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful weeks stay with our dog in this beautiful property. Thank you for the welcome pack and the flowers on arrival, it was a lovely touch. The cottage was super clean, spacious and the bed was so comfy. The owners contacted us on day one to make sure everything was okay. The weather was great so we could relax outside in the private garden area. We saw a couple of amazing sunsets too. We enjoyed our walks to Flamborough head, on the cliffs to North and South Landing. We had a very comfortable week in this lovely property. We arrived to find lots of goodies left out which we thoroughly enjoyed. We spent the going round the area, to the birds at Bempton, walking with our dogs on Bridlington beach and going to South Landing on Flamborough head. We really enjoyed our holiday at Sarah's cottage it was clean comfortable and the facilities were first class. It is well positioned for the village amenities and visiting the local area.To make the holiday even better the weather was fantastic.

Lovely clean and cosy cottage with everything we needed and a handy welcome pack of 'Yorkshire' essentials. We were here to walk the beach and cliff paths and were not disappointed, and could access these from the cottage without needing the car most days. The sunshine made it even better and we left feeling fully refreshed. Thank you Sarah and John, we had a lovely week.

Sarahs cottage is ready for deep cleaning especially ensuite bathroom and some maintenance we also had problem with the heating didnt like being controlled by owner couple of doors away we were cold heating was set at 2hrs in the morning came on at 5. 30am and was off by 8am. second setting was early evening . Told John and he said he had sorted it but it was still unreliable Its a beautiful cottage and would stay again if all these issues were rectified especially to have warmth in January thankyou Christine & Brian
At face value the cottage is very good. Spacious, well equipped, comfortable setees and luxurious bed. Needs a some TLC eg. Lihts over kitchen sink and under cupboards not working quite dark areas outside by derelict barn is untidy. BUT arrived to a freezing cottage, thermostat faulty, resolved but not until Sunday am. Also t.v. faulty. Owner aware of both problems! Worst still on Thursday evening we heard vermin scratching in cavity wall & ceiling. Had to return home a day early. Our summary of holiday.. Awful start, dreadful end. In between was very good.

An absolutely beautiful cottage with lovely owners. John & Sarah really have gone over & above to make your stay exceptional. They have provided everything you need & more ! I dont think I have stayed anywhere in the UK where I have been made to feel more welcome. The little extra touches made all the difference to myself & even my dog had not been forgotten ! We cant wait to return.

A cosy cottage in a perfect location. Sarah's Cottage is beautifully furnished with comfy sofas and the biggest, most sumptuous bed anyone could wish for. The owners, Sarah & John, ensured that we felt immediately welcome by providing fresh flowers on the kitchen table and a most useful and generous pack of provisions. The photos are a true reflection of the property apart from the fact that the lounge seems even more spacious than we thought. Everything is provided in the wellstocked kitchen if you like to cook for yourself, but with several excellent pubrestaurants within easy walking distance we didn't feel the need to. Only a few minutes drive from Flamborough Head with its Lighthouse and seal colony, and comfortable driving distance to Bridlington, Hornsea, Filey, Beverley and Pickering, this lovely property is in the ideal location. As you can probably tell, we had a great time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah's cottage. The cottage is very spacious with a super comfy bed and sofa. The kitchen had all the equipment you could need to make a meal, with a lovely table in the centre. We were checked on via text middle of the week to ensure everything was ok. There was a lovely welcome pack in arrival which was very much appreciated. Our little dogs very much appreciated the treat jar, and enjoyed the little garden out the front. We would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Sarah's Cottage. Lots of room and cosy. Situated very central on all the places we wantedand did to visit, Bridlington, Filey, York, Scarborough and to see the seals at Flamborough Head. Also enjoyed the cliff top walks.With four pubs in the village we couldn't go wrong.Thank you Sarah and John. Hopefully we'll see you again.
This is our second stay at Sarahs Cottage and we really enjoyed our stay again. This time we had some glorious weather which enabled us to do more of the local walks and admire the beautiful scenery. We even saw a colony of seals by the lighthouse. The property itself is very spacious and is equipped with all you need for a relaxing break. It felt very homely and thanks again Sarah and John for the lovely welcome pack. We would definitely like to return again in the future. 5 stars all round.
