On arrival the apartment looked a bit compact but it turned out to be absolutely perfect for my wife and me and the cockapoo the welcome pack was unbelievable it made me and the wife feel like royalty the position of the annex is terrific for walking the dog on the front and great for getting to the town centre thanks for making our holiday GREAT

The location of Ridgeway was ideal for us to walk along the beach for Breakfast at Richies and dinner at the seaview hotel, beautiful beach and views out to sea. Very happy, Patrick and Lorraine not forgetting Bailey our Labrador.

We had a lovely week at Ridgeway, the weather was great and we had days out or just walking around Bridlington. Absolutely loved it, although our accommodation was comfy, clean it did have a couple of setbacks, because it was so warm it felt like being in a sauna, a fan of some sort would have been nice. The bathroom was rather small it could of been placed better not to mention there was no door just a curtain which didnt give you any privacy but on the whole it was clean and in an ideal spot for us, and we loved the welcome hamper we received.

Ridgeway leaves me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, the place wace nice and cosy, and really quite close to the sea in a fairly quiet area. It was wellequipped and there was a nice welcome basket. The sofa could do with some cleaning or a throw to cover the whole affair, but that's not a real complaint. The one thing that I really can't agree with is the loo. That sits so close to a wall that a grownup person can't sit on it, and you know, there are times when you just need to sit on the loo. I've never ever seen anything like this before. You'd have to sit sideways on it if you're taller than, say, five feet. I'm sorry, but this is a nogo.
Had a lovely week at Ridgeway, the weather was also fabulous. Accommodation was good, very comfy, compact but had everything you could need for a lovely stay. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and full of gorgeous goodies. Mary, the host was very helpful and friendly and I would gladly recommend Ridgeway.

First impressions when we first arrived was it was much smaller than we expected but the accommodation was clean well equipped,light & airy and proved a lovely base to return to after a day out. The Welcome pack was generous and very much enjoyed! The toilet was quite tight to navigate & use and access to both sides of the bed would have been a bonus but overall our stay was very much enjoyed. The location so near to the promenade was great.
There was just myself and my dog and both of us were made to feel very welcome on arrival by the owner the lovely Mary. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable throughout the week.Not in an intruding way but in a kind and helpful way. The accommodation was spotless and well designed and the location was fantastic we had some great walks on the beach and promenade. Will return.
It was a great stay but we think the description should make clear how small the bathroom is and how inaccessible the toilet is. We managed but it was really difficult. Beautiful position, great host and very well equipped with all cleaning stuff etc provided. A small issue was the lack of saucepan lids.
Mary is a very accomating person,who helps you in everyway,from giving us a brilliant wecoming hamper to sorting out any problem you might have. Well worth the money.Would definitely stay again,but we have a dog and you said no dogs were allowed after 7th October 2025.Rate definitely 11 out of 10.

We love it we . Bridlington was a place me and my New Wife and dog had a fantastic time together the beach was so clean we had lots of long walks.The cottage was lovely and we enjoyed the welcome pack we be back for a revisit this cottage

The place was very small, this is not a problem, I have stayed in smaller, however the bathroom only had a shower curtain across it, the toilet was too close to the wall so you had to sit sideways, there was no hot water & the flow was really low, the bed was against the wall so you had to clamber in and out, it was comfy when in though. The sofa & rug smelt of wet dogs so we had to keep door open, cobwebs everywhere & the shower tray & tiles were dirty. The kitchen was well equipped, full oven, dishwasher probably too much for the size of the place, space could of been used to create better bathrooms. There was a lovely welcome pack, which was a nice touch. It was close to the beach which was lovely.

We knew the accommodation was compact before we came and had it been for just a long weekend it would have been ideal but we were there for a week so we were lucky that the weather was good and we werent stuck inside. The shower was fab but the toilet was positioned awkwardly so we had to sit sideways. The mattress was comfortable but the frame has seen better days and is very squeaky so every time I turned over or went to the bathroom it woke my husband up

Very compact comfy, warm and welcoming apartment. Great situation for easy and quick access to the beach. Beautiful welcome pack and treats for your pooch. Mary, the owner is such a lovely and kind lady and so accommodating. You couldn't want for more.
RIdgeway is one of the nicest properties I have stayed in and I spent a very comfortable week there. It has been carefully and attractively designed to include everything you could need from cooking facilities to central heating and a rain shower. I also received an amazing welcome package with prosecco, strawberries and cream The location is good being two minutes walk from the seafront and an easy walk to the harbour and town centre. I would definitely stay again

Lovely apartment, very clean and tidy,very well equipment. The bathroom is very small with the position of toilet awkward. The only thing separating the bedroom and bathroom is a short thin shower curtain. Location of apartment is great.

This was a perfect spot for a weekend by the sea for just me and my small dog. The apartment is attractive and very well fitted out with everything you could need. It is in an excellent location, only minutes walk round the corner from South Bay. The off street parking right outside, was a bonus and there were little thoughtful touches and a very generous welcome pack. I will certainly be back.
This is exactly as described a perfect break away in a lovely dwelling with all we could wish for. just a stroll from the beach which we went to every day, the bed was so comfi we slept well and the appratment was so clean with all mod cons, lovely welcome pack from Mary our host. you must vist the model village and the animal park great days out, we did'nt eat out no need all shops in easy reach and all we needed at our appartment to enjoy a well cooked meal, very quiet area and lovely beach to stroll down thank you to our host Mary for a well needed break away from our busy lives it was perfect we love Bridlington and we will be back best wishes Janet and Dave Whittingham x

The little studio was great and in a nice area close to the beach for walking the dog. The property had everything you needed and was very clean you was even supplied with a welcome pack which even included something for the dog which was a lovely treat, Mary the owner was very friendly and nice not forgetting Charlie too lol Great stay would highly recommend
Property much smaller than appeared on photos. Bed against wall on left side. Only curtain to separate bathroom and had to sit sideways on toilet. Dishwasher not been emptied and freezer full of ice and still had food wedged in had to defrost it ourselves before we could use it.
A cracking little holiday base, everything you could need, my only reservation is the bathroom, Im 6ft and 14st and it was a bit snug. Beautiful beach 2 minutes away, would definitely go again, in fact we intend to in July. Thanks Mary our host we had a wonderful visit.
Mary was very welcoming and Charlie the westie is adorable. ...I found the property small and compact .storagespace was limited .ideal for one woman and her dog. But would have been a squeeze with two adults. A security gate was in place over the front door but I did not realise that there was no secure area to let my dog run in as it led directly onto the street. Ample room to park my car off road . Bonus that you are two minutes walk from miles of dog friendly beach.

Booked for my parents. Owner was friendly. Location was good. Property was not clean. Smell of smoke. Very small, had to sit on the toilet sideways. Overall not a good experience and would not return. Cleanliness been a major issue.
This little property is very well equipped with everything provided. Although we only had a 3 night stay we received a lovely welcome pack that included a bottle of red wine, snacks, biscuits chocolates and milk in the fridge. Just around the corner from the beach which suited our dog down to the ground. Great fun clambering across the bed as you only get out one side and it does creak. Lovely hot shower, all in all a very comfortable stay.

This is a lovely, small chalet type place. It suits a couple and 1 pet. Clean with all amenities wifi, microwave, dishwasher etc Great location for long walks on the beach and off road parking which is a must in Bridlington. Only thing is the boiler is in the main house, and this broke so we had no hot water. The wifi was also a bit hit n miss. But we walked for miles, had fish n chips and some lovely days out! Would recommend for a long weekend with your dog!

Absolutely disgusted, my wife is disabled and has to have a scooter, the owner of the property wouldn't let me recharge her scooter she stated The charging scooter would explode and I would be responsible for killing everyone her attitude was disgusting she also said perhaps in future disabled people shouldn't book with sykes cottages no where on the website stated I couldn't charge the scooter. The owner also contacted sykes to complain and we were threatened we would be asked to leave if I charged it again. I wouldn't recommend staying at this property and I will never book an holiday with sykes again
