Ransdale Cottage is a luxury pod in Avernish, a small crofting hamlet near Kyle in the Scottish Highlands. Views from the pod look directly across Loch Duich towards Eilean Donan Castle. The EPC rating is A and the pod sits on a working farm with shared garden furniture and decking access via patio doors.

Avernish is quiet and remote. You can walk the shoreline from the doorstep and spot otters, seals and eagles across the loch. Kayaking on Loch Duich and hiking the Five Sisters of Kintail are both within easy reach. Fishing and horse riding are also nearby.

The pod sleeps 2 and is all on the ground floor. The separate bedroom has a double (4ft 6in) bed. The shower room includes a cubicle shower, heated towel rail and complimentary toiletries. The galley kitchen has an electric hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. The open-plan living area has a Smart TV and dining area. Underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included.

Eilean Donan Castle is a short drive away (approx. 2 miles, 5 minutes). Dornie village with its traditional pubs is nearby. The Isle of Skye via Skye Bridge is around 20 miles (30 minutes). Plockton with its palm-lined harbour is roughly 10 miles away (20 minutes).
