It sits within easy reach of the RSPB Bempton Cliffs bird sanctuary one of the best places in the UK to see puffins, guillemots, kittiwakes and fulmars on the chalk cliffs. The cottage has an open fire with initial fuel included and a welcome pack on arrival.

Buckton village is on the doorstep with a pub, shop and playground within a quarter of a mile. The beach is 4 miles away. Flamborough Head, Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington are all a short drive. York is roughly an hour away by car or train.
