Puffin Cottage, Bridlington

Puffin Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion dating back to 1810, set within Manor Farm Cottages in the village of Buckton near Flamborough on the East Yorkshire coast. It holds a Visit England 4 Star rating and has won Customers' Choice awards in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2026. Inside, exposed oak beams and a chalk stone wall give the space real character. It's a snug, well-equipped retreat for two.

The cottage sits within a sheltered former farmyard courtyard - a genuine sun trap. Bempton Cliffs RSPB Nature Reserve is walkable from the door or a 5-minute drive and is home to over 250,000 seabirds including puffins, gannets and guillemots. The White Horse pub, a café, art gallery and village shop are all within half a mile.

Puffin Cottage sleeps 2 guests in one kingsize (5ft) bedroom with an en-suite cubicle shower room. The ground floor is open plan with a 32" Freeview TV, dining area and a full kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. There is no hot tub at this property.

Flamborough Head is minutes away. Bridlington is roughly 6 miles (15 minutes). Scarborough is around 18 miles (30 minutes). Sewerby Hall with its children's zoo is approximately 4 miles (10 minutes). York is about 40 miles (1 hour).
