The farm sits in peaceful East Yorkshire countryside close to Fraisthorpe Beach. Walks start directly from the cottage and National Bike Route 1 is just 0.5 miles away. The Yorkshire Wolds, Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve are all within easy reach.

A modern, very well equipped, converted farm building in a lovely court yard setting. The location is excellent for visiting the coast and surrounding area. The owner is very friendly and suggested places for us to visit. We would stay in the property again if visiting that part of Yorkshire.

Each room was a decent size the main living area was huge and the vaulted ceiling made it feel even larger. Every detail was carefully thought out and my personal benchmark is the bedroom mirrorelectrical socketdressing table configuration which was spot on in Kingfisher Corner. 10 out of 10 for the comfort of the bed and the corner sofa the quality of the shower and the convenience of the parking. We also had the best broadband we have ever had at any holiday cottage in the UK. We look forward to returning to Kingfisher Corner or one of the neighbouring cottages in the near future. This is our second visit, it was as good as last time, so good indeed that we have booked a third visit.

The accommodation was ideal for our needs it was warm, comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. It was in a location that provided a perfect base for our exploration of the local area. The owners were also kind enough to leave us some of their homemade apple juice which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a super cottage on a farm. We needed a total break ... and we certainly were rewarded. We had peace and quiet, it was lovely to have the time and space to just be. I would highly recommend this property. Five star accommodation, everything provided and extra large king sized bed, very large walkin shower. There is a large open plan livingroomkitchen, perfect for coming and relaxing. If you add the warm underfloor heating the temperature was perfect as well. I would highly recommend this property for a holiday break. I would have to say its the best property I have ever booked on Sykes cottages.

The owner Rachel popped in to see us just after our arrival, what a lovely person, wed just unpacked our suitcase to discover the absence of the scrabble game. We were just off into Bridlington to buy a game for the holiday, Rachel kindly loaned us the use of theirs for the duration of our stay, how kind. The cottage, like Rachel is perfect.

Had the most wonderful two night stay. Clean, comfortable and most of all, relaxing! The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. A really lovely touch was the owners put a small Christmas tree and hanging lights at the window which made our stay that bit more special. I cannot wait to book for another visit, a real home from home.
