The name says it all hygge is the Norwegian word for cosiness and contentment.

The pub and restaurant at the clubhouse is just 400 yards away with a veranda and sea views. The beach is 3 miles out. An 18-hole cliff top golf course sits right next to the site and is open to non-members. Woodland paths lead directly to Sewerby Hall from the lodge.
