Shire Cottage is a one-bedroom barn conversion at Marton Manor Cottages in Sewerby, near Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Part of a collection of six cottages converted from the farm's original outbuildings, Shire Cottage sits on a working family farm with a farm shop and café on-site. It's a Customers' Choice 2022 award winner. No hot tub here, but there's plenty to keep you busy.

The farm sits within one mile of the coast. There's a petting area on-site, a children's play area, a shared one-acre field and a bike store. A pub and restaurant are just 500 yards away. The location puts you within easy reach of the Yorkshire coast, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds.

The cottage sleeps 2 guests in one double bedroom (4ft 6in bed) with a Freeview TV and DVD player. Downstairs is open-plan with a living area, dining space and kitchen with gas cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Bed linen and towels are included. Wi-Fi and gas central heating throughout. Private parking for two cars.

Sewerby Hall and gardens are just around the corner. Bridlington's two beaches and harbour are one mile away. Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve is under 10 minutes by car. Burton Agnes Hall is approximately 5 miles away (10 minutes).
