Rock Lobster, Flamborough

Rock Lobster is a contemporary single-storey bungalow sitting right at the top of Flamborough Head in Yorkshire. The position is hard to beat facing east across the sea with the lighthouse directly opposite. A café and bistro sit right next door at the lighthouse. This is a proper coastal base.

The coastal path is a two-minute walk from the front door. From there you can walk to North Landing for boat trips or head to Bempton Cliffs to watch puffins. Seals and dolphins are regularly spotted along this stretch of coast. Flamborough village is just three miles away with a gastro pub and a Grade II listed Norman church.

Rock Lobster sleeps four guests across two bedrooms: a king-size master with sea views and a twin room. Both have Smart TVs. The lounge has oak flooring and a wood burner. The kitchen-diner has patio doors opening to the garden with a charcoal BBQ. One contemporary bathroom has a walk-in shower and bath.

Bempton Cliffs RSPB Reserve (3 miles / 8 mins), Bridlington seafront (6 miles / 12 mins), Thornwick Bay (1 mile / 4 mins) and Danes Dyke Nature Reserve (2 miles / 6 mins) are all close by.

Rock Lobster is ideal for couples or small families wanting direct coastal access with real sea views. One dog is welcome too.
