Peace Cottage is a whitewashed stone cottage in the heart of Flamborough village, East Yorkshire. Built in 1870 and rumoured to be constructed from stones taken from the ruined Flamborough Tower directly opposite, this two-bedroom property sleeps four. Original features include exposed brickwork, ceiling beams, low doorways and a winding staircase.

Flamborough sits within three miles of the coast. The village has traditional pubs within walking distance, fish and chip shops and a well-stocked village shop. Flamborough Head's chalk cliffs are home to puffins, razorbills and gannets. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is close by for serious birdwatchers.

Flamborough Lighthouse is under two miles away. Bridlington's Victorian promenade and sandy beaches are around four miles (10 minutes). Sewerby Hall is approximately three miles (8 minutes). Burton Agnes Hall is around eight miles (15 minutes).

To reach Peace Cottage by car, head into Flamborough village via the B1255 from Bridlington. The village is well signposted from the A165. Please note there is no on-site parking so plan to use nearby street parking in the village.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Bridlington, approximately four miles from Flamborough. From Bridlington station a local taxi will get you to Peace Cottage in around ten minutes.
